Nathaniel Durant (Acro 2 & 3)

Slidell native, Mr. Nate, joins The Dance Project faculty off the heels of a 3-year tenure with the New Orleans Pelicans Hype Team as Team Captain, coupled with a 4-year tenure with the New Orleans Hornets as a member of the Buzz Patrol, Hornets Dunk Team and French Quarter Flyers, of which he also served as Team Captain.

Mr. Nate is a high-energy instructor in the classroom and continues to exercise his motivational speaking and inspirational work with High Impact Entertainment throughout schools and churches in the area. He and his team have won two athletic Guinness World Records and have led a team of six acrobats across the world to perform with Afrika! Afrika! and the Europe Circus.

Other performance credits include Acrodunk, Houston Rockets Anti-Gravity, Jackson Square Jumpers, New Orleans Hornets Jump Rope Team, Slidell Skippers, along with multiple competitive awards and medals at the Junior Olympics, Worlds Competitions, and numerous National Competitions.
